Other Modalities Explained |

Chakra
Cleansing/Healing: Chakra healing focuses on the seven
main energy centers of the human body. If one of these centers is not
functioning properly, then the whole body suffers. Each chakra is
represented by a color, therefore that color can be used to restore
balance to the affected area. Different techniques are used to
cleanse a chakra, with color therapy being one of the easiest to
apply. Opening the charkas in therapy produces healing throughout the
entire psyche and the body. Chakras are well known in Yoga and
martial arts.
Crystal/stone
Healing:Crystal healing works in much the same way as
color therapy, using gemstones of different types placed on the part
of the body that need healing. Each stone has healing properties
associated with it and can be placed on the body during therapy,
under a bed during sleep, or worn as jewelry to absorb or distribute
the energy. Color therapy works well with different types of crystals
and stones.
Spiritual
Card Readings: Card readings given by me would be of a
spiritual nature and not for asking about the future events of one*s
life, but whether or not a person is on the right path to
enlightenment, and how to stay on that path, or what lessons need to
be learned from their path.
Medicine
Wheels: Walking a medicine wheel provides insight to your
path.. Each of the 36 points has a specific healing that goes along
with its position on the wheel. Healing ceremonies done with a
medicine wheel are very powerful and can bring about changes to the
whole person, in addition to healing a physical ailment. Space needed
for this modality can range from using visualization of a wheel to
building a permanent wheel with any dimension or element.
Color
Therapy: It has
been long known that when we wear certain colors it affects our
moods. Even politicians realized that red is a power color. When
specific colors are utilized as a form of therapy, either by wearing
them, draping them over the body during a Reiki session, or using
different colored lights, it can produce a healing sensation in the
aura of energy surrounding the body. Kirilian photography can show
the colors of the aura and location of illnesses. By applying color
therapy, this can be corrected.
All healing truly comes from our
Creator, and not from the person handling the treatment or ceremony.
The practitioner is only a conduit for the healing energies to flow
from one source into another. I also believe that true healing begins
within, with a sincere desire to become whole again, and the
willingness to allow the changes to take place that are necessary for
that healing. We are all born perfect in the eyes of our Creator, and
in the Creator*s eyes we are still perfect and that same Creator
loves us as perfect beings.
Opening our hearts and minds to
alternative ways of healing is the first step to becoming whole. The
second step is to act on our desire to be healed by searching out the
right method. There are too many ways to list them all here and no
one person could possibly master them all. It is within our own soul
we find the right path. The Five Reiki principles compliment the ten
commandments well.
